Main objective of the campaign

The Feeding India campaign is dedicated to supporting our nation’s collective efforts to eradicate hunger and malnutrition through various large- scale programs. Under one of its flagship initiatives: Daily Feeding Program, Feeding India partners with credible organizations to provide meal support to children in low-income private schools that cater to marginalized communities.

Through strategic alliances with NGOs,Feeding India has served 160+ million meals across 100+ cities, significantly expanding their reach and magnifying the effectiveness of their  mission to combat hunger and malnutrition in India.

Who is the target audience/who is it relevant for?

The Daily Feeding Program is targeted towards non-profit institutions primarily working in the education and sports sector with children under the age of 18 years of age and belonging to low income communities.

What support will be provided?

Feeding India offers daily meal assistance to children in low-income private schools, sports NGOs, learning or bridge centers, orphanages, and residential schools, ensuring they receive nutritious meals. With a carefully curated menu, their aim is to meet the macro and micronutrient needs of children under 18 years of age. This menu is thoughtfully designed to accommodate the rich cultural diversity present across India.

Selection process

Pre-Evaluation : Application Submission

Potential partner organizations apply for the program by filling up the interest form. The feeding India team will reach out to the organizations who have successfully filled up the form for a detailed discussion.

Post the discussion,  the applicable NGOs are invited to apply for the meal grant. The detailed link to the grant portal will be shared by the Feeding India Team.

Post-Evaluation : DFP Grant Review (Please note that post-evaluation will happen outside the IPN platform)

The entire process takes 7-10 working days.

Level 1 Approval

Program Manager evaluates the application and reverts with clarifying questions on the portal. Within 24-48 hours, the NGO needs to resolve the query for further evaluation. Once the application meets the level-1 criteria, it is moved to the Head of Daily Feeding Program (DFP)  for ‘Level 2 Approval.’

Level 2 Approval

Once approved, a meeting is scheduled with the NGOs to discuss the proposal in detail and align the program model and implementation.

Level 3 Approval

Application is reviewed by the President of Feeding India, who has the authority to approve or reject the proposal based on a comprehensive assessment.
