Data Catalyst Program (DCP) : Cohort 2

Do you want to harness the power of data to create lasting change in your organisation?

The Data Catalyst Program (DCP) aims to build the capacity of nonprofit organisations and social enterprises to create scalable and sustainable data solutions for program expansion, organisational effectiveness and transformational impact. This is a partnership between Project Tech4Dev, Dasra and knowledge partner Goalkeep. 

Program Journey and Plan:

• Duration: 50 hours over 6 months

• Support: 1:1 from data and tech experts

• June-July: Baseline assessment of NGOs and alignment on problem statement

• August (3rd week): 2.5-day in-person workshop for peer-learning, 1:1 support on the project scope and curated expert-led sessions.

• September-October: Focus on designing project outcome and implementation

• November (3rd week): 2.5 days in-person workshop for presenting the project scope: sharing learnings and building knowledge.

• December: Program closure and endline survey to assess learning

Key Outcomes/Takeaways:

• Unlock the power of data by building a strong data strategy and project scope with a clear roadmap to achieve sustainable scale & impact

• Hone leadership skills to be ‘data champions’ within their organizations and cultivate a deep data culture for innovative community-focused thinking

• Equip participants with data-based tools and techniques to enhance transformational impact for communities

Who can apply?

• Registered NGOs or social enterprises with a focus on data-driven impact strategies

• Annual budget of INR 3 Cr or above

• Ability to send two participants leading data, technology, or M&E initiatives

Project/Program timelines: Program commences in June end/July 2024 and ends in Dec 2024 

Participant Contribution: INR 1,00,000 per NGO [INR 50,000 per participant (20% program costs) includes: tuition, accomodation and food, excludes: travel cost]
