Puspita Datta is an independent consultant with over 20 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, MIS, primary research, data analysis, and report writing.
She works with non-profits and CSR programs to assess project performance, improve data systems, and generate useful insights for decision-making. Her recent national work includes evaluations of nutrition and health programs for GAIN and PCI India, impact assessments for Dhwani Foundation, GIVE Grants India, and The Hans Foundation, and CSR reviews for Tech Mahindra Foundation, Mahindra Finance, ITC, and Eicher Group Foundation. She has also supported UNICEF India in developing data strategies and action plans.
Internationally, she has consulted with organisations such as the Asia Pacific Alliance (Thailand), AVPN (Singapore), GAIN (Switzerland), and UNICEF in India, South Africa, Mongolia, Panama, and Liberia, contributing to programme evaluations, MEL frameworks, and learning systems.
With extensive experience across sectors such as health, nutrition, education, women’s empowerment, livelihoods, and social protection, Puspita helps organisations improve programme effectiveness through practical, data-driven solutions.
