The ILSS Fundraising Program is India’s first and most comprehensive learning initiative designed specifically for fundraising professionals in the social sector. Developed by India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS), the programme equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead fundraising efforts effectively and sustainably.
The programme combines expert-led sessions, real-world case studies, and hands-on exercises to help professionals understand India’s diverse funding landscape. It covers a wide range of topics, including institutional and individual giving, donor stewardship, regulatory frameworks, strategic fundraising, and emerging trends like venture philanthropy and blended finance.
Designed for senior professionals in NGOs, foundations, and mission-driven organisations, the course offers a hybrid learning experience with virtual sessions and an immersive residential module. Participants also gain access to a vibrant network of peers and sector leaders, along with ongoing mentorship and support.
Through this programme, ILSS aims to strengthen fundraising leadership in the sector and empower organisations to build long-term, sustainable resource mobilisation strategies.
